Virtual Education and its effects on the application of practical subjects in education, Universidad Especializada de Las Américas, Chiriquí, Chiriquí.

The research that is presented below and which is entitled Virtual education and its effects to apply practical subjects in education, carried out at the Specialized University of the Americas, aims to analyze the effects of virtual education when it is required to do subjects practices in educational settings at the Specialized University of the Americas, Chiriquí campus and to achieve this purpose it is determined what skills the student has in the management of virtual tools to face practical subjects, it is investigated what modality uses the UDELAS university to teach the practical subjects in virtual times and determine which are the competences that the student has once they acquire their knowledge through virtuality in their practical subjects at UDELAS. The methodology used had a non- experimental cross-sectional design, a type of study according to its quantitative approach and with a descriptive scope. The population consisted of 63 participants and 26 of them, who were doing practical subjects, were applied a survey questionnaire that allowed the collection of data as a result of their opinions and points of view.
As a result, it was known that the majority of students handle virtual tools to a great extent for their practical subjects, however, the use of simulators is used to a regular and little extent. UDELAS teachers use virtual platforms for this type of learning. In addition, regarding performance in the professional field, they consider that responsibility and sense of commitment are improved.
