The role of the thesis tutor: its impact on quality scientific production.

Abstract

Thesis mentors play an important role in the training of researchers and the quality of scientific production.  This paper explores the influence of tutors in generating high-quality research, highlighting the ability of teachers to guide, motivate and support students during the research process.  It examines the different techniques and strategies used by tutors to promote learning improvement, such as methodological advice, constructive feedback and the promotion of critical thinking.
